In a dark room, 100 independent modules are placed on the floor. Each module produces a rhythm associated with a singular audio modulation and is linked to a light beam in the room. When someone comes in and blocks the light, the sound becomes deeper and slower. The more the sensors pick up the light, the more the sound modulations increase in rhythm and pitch. Tazasproject presents an acoustic immersion of a physical space. The micro-textured sounds mirror those of nocturnal winged insects; confronting the viewer with the fragility of a reactive space searching for stability.
